Officereno recently had the honor of renovating Eden and Elie (Eden + Elie)’s Singapore workshop located in Duxton Rd – a space as purposeful as their beautiful handwoven jewelry. Designed with their neurodiverse artisans in mind, the new layout features bright, sensory-friendly workstations and sustainable materials, mirroring their commitment to inclusion and craftsmanship.
It’s more than a redesign; it’s a physical manifestation of their mission to transform fashion through meaningful employment and ethical practices.
Designing for Neurodiversity: Light, Layout, and Intent
Through careful space planning, custom partition wall installation, and tailored carpentry work, we transformed Eden + Elie’s workshop into a neurodiverse-friendly environment that supports both artistry and wellbeing. Every design choice—from the strategic workspace zoning to the sensory-conscious materials—was implemented to empower their artisans with autism, proving that functional spaces can uplift both craft and community.
